Project with Powerpoint

Project with Powerpoint

Q For this project, choose a single, specific technology or technological device that you feel impacts/will continue to impact your education, your future career, and society as a whole. Suggested areas: cell phones, apps, online learning, online shopping, nano technology, YouTube, etc. You need to email me your topic no later than midnight on Wednesday; this will give you time to look for sources and make an informed decision on your topic. If you do not give me a topic by that time, I will email you a topic on Thursday and that will be the topic you MUST do; nothing else will be graded. So don't procrastinate. :) By this weekend, you need to submit a bibliography (citations only -- no annotations) so that I can see your work is going in the right direction. By the deadline -- November 7 -- you will need to turn in: You will need to complete and submit: 1. An 8 item annotated bibliography (50% of grade) – this will demonstrate that you have actively researched the subject and that there are sufficient resources to successfully complete your project. Each entry must be 150 - 200 words in length.Entries that fail to meet the length requirement will not be counted towards the grade. At least four of these sources must come from a library database or Google Scholar. 2. b) A 15-20 slide Powerpoint presentation (50%) that synthesizes your research and includes at least one quantitative graphic that you group have assembled from your research. Each content slide must cite the source. This can be done by supplying a full bibliographical citation at the bottom of the slide OR by providing a works cited page at the end in an additional slide. All of the information in your slides MUST come from the sources in your annotated bibliography. The only exception would be graphics, and those must be source cited. I will provide separate slots for the submission of the annotated bib and the Powerpoint, but only one combined grade will be given. PreviousNext
